Yesterday was the squads first day working with a new coach, Maurice Van Paardenkooper is a very well respective coach and actually worked with Lucy in her last campaign to London 2012.
For Maurice it was his first experience of the Nacra, so he used the day to find his feet and get a better idea of the boats and how they sail. The wind was genrally pretty light, but as the day went on it built to a nice sea breeze before quickly disappearing towards the end of the day.
In the lighter stuff Lucy and I seemed pretty fast on all point of sail, and really concentrated on smoothing the boat handling, while in the breeze we have some work to do upwind but seem to be absolutely flying downwind.
Another day today, and it looks like more light winds, check back soon for more updates, I will try and get some pictures too.
