I can now confirm i will be working with the British Challenge for the Little Americas Cup (LAC) Team Invictus. Over the the weekend the team were down in falmouth to announce that the LAC in 2013 will be held out of restonguet, my home club and that I will be sailing the boat. During the weekend there was a press conference where all the news was broken and I was even able to get out ont the boat for my first sail. When sailing on the friday evening a it really was amazing to see the boat flying a hull in probably less than 5 kts. On the saturday the wind was a lot stronger but we still went out to see what the boat was capable of. It was an amazing sail and i didnt really want to go in but due to a dagger board failure we were forced to call it a day. From now on i hope to sail the boat more and more, and try to help the team update and modify the design so that we have a real chance in 2013.
